Overview
We want Agent Smith to be useful, safe, and respectful for everyone who uses it.
This Acceptable Use Policy explains the kinds of behavior and content that are not allowed when using the website, platform, workspaces, AI features, community areas, public endpoints, or connected integrations.
You must not misuse the Service
When using Agent Smith, you must not:
- break the law or encourage others to do so
- upload, distribute, or link to malware, ransomware, spyware, or other harmful code
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, workspaces, systems, APIs, storage, or networks
- interfere with the security, integrity, availability, or performance of the Service
- probe, scan, scrape, overload, or abuse public endpoints, rate limits, or access controls
- reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the platform in a way that creates risk for Agent Smith or other users
Harmful behavior is not allowed
You must not use Agent Smith to:
- harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others
- defame people or organizations
- dox, stalk, or expose private information without authorization
- promote hatred, discrimination, or violence
- exploit, endanger, or harm minors
- engage in fraud, deception, or unlawful manipulation
AI misuse is not allowed
You must not use AI-powered features to:
- impersonate another person or organization in a deceptive way
- generate or distribute illegal content
- create spam, phishing, scams, or mass deception
- automate abusive, misleading, or manipulative behavior
- generate content intended to facilitate unlawful conduct
- bypass human review where caution is reasonably required
AI features are provided to help you work better, not to enable harmful, deceptive, or unlawful activity.
You are responsible for your content
You are responsible for the content, files, prompts, messages, links, and other material you upload, generate, submit, or share through Agent Smith.
If you upload or process third-party personal data, you are responsible for making sure you have a lawful basis to do so and for providing any notices or permissions required by applicable law.
Respect security and access boundaries
You must not attempt to:
- bypass authentication or permission controls
- use another person's account without authorization
- access data, files, or workspaces that do not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use
- interfere with integrations, background actions, or automated workflows in a malicious or abusive way
Enforcement
If we believe you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, the Beta Terms of Service, or applicable law, we may take action, including:
- removing or restricting content
- limiting access to specific features
- disabling integrations or automated actions
- suspending or terminating accounts or workspaces
- investigating the issue internally
- cooperating with legal or regulatory authorities where appropriate
We may take these actions with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or Agent Smith.
Changes to this policy
Agent Smith is evolving during beta. We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the platform develops, including when new features, integrations, or AI capabilities are added.
When material changes are made, the updated version will be published here.
